Paris France. The Printemps department store on Boulevard Haussmann in the 9th arrondissement (borough) of Paris. Despite confinement and lockdown due to Covid-19, some visitors adventure themselves to see the Christmas decorations of this famous upmarket department store.
The Printemps was founded in May 1865 by Jules Jaluzot and Jean-Alfred Duclos. After a fire destroyed the major part of the building, a new Printemps was built in 1883. (Le Nouveau Printemps). It was the first public space equipped entirely with electrical lighting.Le Printemps a été fondé en mai 1865 par Jules Jaluzot et Jean-Alfred Duclos.
