Description:
Petra, Jordan. The Lion Biclinium is located on the way up to the "monastery" in a small canyon on the left side. Two lions, symbolically associated with the nabatean goddess Al-Uzza, are carved on either side of the entrance. A frieze with a head of medusa at each end decorates the facade.
