Beirut, Lebanon. The "Holiday Inn" hotel was constructed between 1971 and 1974. It operated a year before it became a battleground between October 1975 and April 1976 in was what called "The battle of the Hotels" and again in the 1982 Lebanon War. Since then it has remained a gutted, bullet ridden ruin the owners still haven't decided about the hotels future. Architect: André Wogenscky with Maurice Hindié.
