Beirut, Lebanon. Corniche Beirut in 1997. The preferred promenade of the Beirutis. Walkers, joggers and bikers can be seen here, specially early in the morning or late after-noon. In the evening some come to smoke a hookah. As soon as the water temperature allows it, swimmers gather on the rocks.
