Description:
Petra, Jordan. Qasr al-Bint [al Faraun]-The Palais de la Fille [du Pharaoh] is a Nabatean temple built around the year thirty before J-C. He was, a priori, devoted to the god Dusares, perhaps also to the pre-Islamic goddess of fertility, Al-Uzza. It was one of the main temples of Petra. It was destroyed by the earthquake of 363. Its initial height was twenty-three meters.
